A Pomodoro timer for focused work and study

Start with the classic 25-minute focus session and a 5-minute break, or choose a longer rhythm for deep work. Your active session is calculated from its exact end time, so switching tabs does not make the countdown slowly drift.

Keep one task visible, use fullscreen when you want fewer distractions, and switch to the mini timer when you need the countdown above your notes or work windows. It works equally well for studying, writing, coding, reading and focused creative work.

Pomodoro Timer FAQ

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

It is a time-management method that alternates focused work intervals with breaks. The classic starting rhythm is 25 minutes of focus followed by a 5-minute break.

Is 25 minutes required?

No. FlipClock also includes longer 50/10 and 90/15 focus rhythms, and you can set custom focus and break durations.

Does the timer stay accurate in a background tab?

Yes. The remaining time is calculated from the target end time rather than by trusting a one-second browser interval.

Where is my Pomodoro data stored?

Your timer settings, current task and session count are stored locally in this browser. They are not sent to a FlipClock account.
